A. It's really difficult without seeing your laptop. As long as you haven't deleted any of your settings, try deleteing the Hotel configuration completely.

A. you'll need to get an audio/visual switch box which has one output (av)for the speakers and it needs two or more inputs (av)for the sources(Xbox/PC) you will need to use the av output on your xbox and PC to connect to the switch box( this will by pass the TV speakers connection, but you will need to turn the TV volume to Zero) I have this exact setup(same speakers) and it works fine, but you can't run both sound sources at the same time, but you can switch between them. I hope that helps

What is wrong with a Xbox 360 system if it does not allow you to play Xbox 360 games?
Q. My Xbox 360 system will not allow me to play any of my Xbox 360 video games. Every time I enter one of them, it reads 'Unplayable Disc'. This applies to them all and from inspecting it, I have not located any major scratches on them or anything really damaging.

A. DVD drive failure, only covered by the 1 year warranty. You can try cleaning it out with a can of compressed air, it may help a little bit. Eventually you will need to call xbox support and schedule a repair. If you are no longer covered by the 1 year warranty this may cost $100-$140 to have fixed. BUT when you pay to have it fixed, the 1 year and 3 year warranties start over from the day it leaves the repair center.

Q. I have bought the Xbox 360 Arcade, I really don't know the difference between them all except the Elite has a bigger hard drive and is black lol! What I am wondering is what is the difference between the different Xbox 360 consoles apart from the price? Premium: Comes with 20GB memory card, 1 controller, 2 Xbox games (Forza, Marvel Alliance). Also includes component video cable. Elite: (seems to be out of stock right now) Comes with 120GB hard drive, 1 controller, 2 Xbox games (same as Premium). Also includes 1 component video cable, and HDMI cable. The biggest difference between them is the hard drive. However, even the Arcade model can any 360 game and go online like the Premium or Elite. That said, I would try to get the Premium if possible. A. In terms of using a router, this is absolutely possible. Make SURE that you are using a router indeed though. Routers and switches physically can look almost identical but the underlying layers in the operations that each perform are much different. A router should be transparent to your ISP and if you have NAT (Network Address Translation) turned on, it should issue 192.168.x.x IP addresses to your Xbox 360. Now if you have NAT turned off, both Xbox 360s will attempt to go to your ISP and register an IP address over the one connection. This will deny one or the other of a connection unless your ISP has issued you more than one IP address which usually costs about 5 dollars extra a month. If you really have a router, double check to make… [cont.]

Can i transfer an Xbox Live profile and account for Xbox 360 to a different profile on the same console?
Q. Mistakenly I set up a new profile for joining xbox live instead of using my extensive one i'd been using (which had a Gamerscore of 4000). Is there a way to transfer the profile and Xbox live account ive set up (which has a gamerscore of 0) to the other profile on the same Xbox? Or can i transfer my details like achievements and games played onto my new xbox live profile? I had heard this can be done at a cost of 800 Microsoft points.
Asked by schnoodles1 - Wed Dec 20 02:18:23 2006 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments
A. All I can say is, why? If you all ready have a gamertag that has 4000, why not use that profile extensively on your 360. If you want another account for whatever reason, than use that one. If your trying to change the name of your gamertag to that of your new gamertag and keep the same score, I don't think that is possible. I've not tried it, but it sounds a bit long winded to me.

How can I upgrade my regular non-xbox live account to xbox live without losing all my data and gamerscore?
Q. I have a couple cards to redeem for xbox live gold. Is it possible to upgrade my account I have now to an xbox live one? Or do I have to start all over?
Asked by Joey - Sat Oct 3 14:26:55 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Sign in with your non-live gamertag, hit the Guide button on your controller. One of the options on the screen should be "Join Xbox Live". This will walk you through the steps needed to convert your account to a Live account. You might have to change your gamertag if the name on your local profile is already used by somebody on Live, but it will keep your saves and gamerscore intact.

Q. I've had my xbox live account for nearly a year and it will renew itself at the end of this month. I've decided to scrap the account and just put the money towards an xbox 360, Halo 2 is pretty boring now. My only problem is that I can't see any obvious 'delete account' options in account manegment or any other part of the xbox live menue. So how do I delete my xbox live account?

A. dont delete it! cancel the subscription before it renews itself. on the xbox 360 theres an option called recover gamertag. you put in ur email and pass for the other one and it will put it on the 360
